The Justaino Score is my opinion of the current FC 26 meta. You might not share it. Peks Lab lets you re-weight the whole thing to your own reading of the game, right down to which PlayStyles matter at which position, and then ranks your club by that instead.
It lives with the score it changes, not in the main menu.
That button gains a glowing ring whenever your own weighting is switched on, so you can never be looking at custom rankings without a signal in view. Closing the page drops you straight back on the rankings, already re-sorted.
Everything else on the page is inert until this is on My Score.
Justaino Score is my numbers, and it's the default. My Score is yours. Switching between them never deletes your tuning - it's a genuine A/B, so you can flip back and forth and compare the same position under both readings.
While the switch sits on Justaino Score, the tuning cards below it are dimmed and their sliders won't move. That's deliberate: there's no state where you can drag something that does nothing. And if you switch to My Score without having changed anything yet, it says so - an untouched custom score is still identical to mine.
Four opinions, ready made. A preset is nothing more than a set of the sliders below, so picking one is identical to dragging them there yourself.
| Preset | What it does | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Justaino baseline | Clears every custom value, back to my numbers. | Starting over without losing the switch. |
| Stats purist | Ranks mostly on raw stat fit for the position (75% stats), and drops how much a PlayStyle+ is worth. | If you think PlayStyles are overrated and pace, physical and shooting decide games. |
| PlayStyle maxxer | Flips it: PlayStyles carry most of the score (72%) and a PlayStyle+ counts for more. | If you rate a Finesse Shot+ striker over one with better numbers. |
| OVR respecter | Pulls the result back toward the card's in-game OVR (15%). | If you want marquee high-OVR cards ranking near the top. This is how the hub scored before v28. |
A preset chip only lights up while your settings match it exactly. Drag any slider afterwards and it quietly deselects, because you're no longer on that preset - you're on your own thing.
If you change one thing on this page, change this one.
Every player's score is built from two halves. Stat fit is how well their six face stats suit the position, and PlayStyle fit is how many of the right PlayStyles they own for it. This slider decides the split. My baseline is an even 50 / 50.
The two always total 100, so there's no invalid setting to get wrong.
One slider, and your best striker changes. This is why the page shows you who moves as you drag rather than making you guess - see Who this moves.
Each one tells you my baseline underneath it, so you can always see how far you've wandered.
How hard the finished score gets pulled toward the number on the front of the card. I keep this at 1%, which makes it a pure tiebreak: it only separates two players whose fit is otherwise level, and can never lift a marquee card above one that genuinely suits the role better.
Turn it up if you want big-name cards ranking high regardless of how they read statistically. Turn it to 0 to ignore OVR completely.
How many ordinary PlayStyles one PlayStyle+ is worth. At 3.5, a striker with Finesse Shot+ gets three and a half times the credit of one with plain Finesse Shot.
Turn it up if you think the plus versions are where games are won. Turn it down if you'd rather reward a card carrying lots of relevant PlayStyles of any kind.
The ceiling a card is measured against - how many relevant PlayStyle+ a "perfect" card for the position would have. Everyone's PlayStyle half is scored as a fraction of this.
Turn it up and stacking a sixth relevant plus keeps paying off. Turn it down and a well-built card hits full marks sooner, which compresses the top of your rankings.
Tuning is only useful if you can see what it does to your actual players.
This card sits under the dials and shows your real club - your top six at a chosen position under your current settings. It re-sorts live as you drag. The arrow is how many places each player has moved against my order, so green means your weighting rates them higher than mine does.
Change the position from the dropdown on the card. It's the fastest way to sanity-check a change: if a tweak sends someone you know is good tumbling down the list, that's your answer.
Everything from here on lives under Advanced, folded away until you want it.
Pick a position and you get a slider for each of the six face stats. This is where you say what a position actually needs: that your centre backs must be quick, that your CDMs live or die on passing, that shooting barely matters at full back.
The deepest control on the page, and the one that changes the score most.
Out of the box, each position is scored against a set of roles - an Advanced Forward wants different PlayStyles from a Target Forward - and every card is judged by whichever role it fits best. You can see the whole set on the how the score works page.
If you disagree with those lists, take the position over. You get a weight slider for every PlayStyle, you can add any PlayStyle that isn't there, and you can remove ones you don't rate. It starts seeded with the numbers that position already uses, so you're adjusting my opinion rather than starting from a blank page.
Two smaller notes. Keeper-only PlayStyles (Far Reach, Footwork, 1v1 Close Down, Cross Claimer, Deflector) are only offered for GK. And a PlayStyle+ still counts your weight multiplied by the PlayStyle+ dial, so those two settings work together.
How much credit a role's ordered list gives each rank.
Every role lists its PlayStyles in priority order. These four numbers decide what each rank in that list earns. My baseline is 4 / 3 / 2 / 1: the top two PlayStyles score 4, the next two score 3, the next two score 2, and everything else scores 1.
Try 6 / 2 / 1 / 0. Only a role's top couple of PlayStyles really count, and owning the rest earns you nothing. Use this if you think one or two PlayStyles define a role and the rest is noise.
Try 3 / 3 / 2 / 2. Anything a role considers relevant counts for nearly the same. Use this if you'd rather reward a well-rounded card than a specialist.
This has no effect on a position where you've taken over the PlayStyle list, since that position is no longer using roles at all.
Why your Gauntlet squads move less than your rankings do.
The Squad Builder doesn't draft purely on the score. It blends in a little raw OVR - 10% by default - so that when two players are genuinely level on merit, the better card gets the shirt. The other 90% is whichever score is active, so your squads follow your weighting.
Turn it up if you'd rather the builder simply started your strongest cards and used the score only to settle close calls. At high values a well-kitted lower-rated player will lose their place to a big name with the wrong PlayStyles - which may be exactly what you want when you're filling several squads at once.
So treat this dial as a direction rather than a precise percentage. The reliable test is the one below: build the same formation at two settings and see how many shirts change hands.
Four opinions about football, and the settings that express them.
You think a quick centre back who can't head a ball still beats a slow monster who can.
Watch: set Who this moves to CB. Your quickest defenders should climb several places.
You think face stats are noise and the meta is decided by which PlayStyle+ a card carries.
Why the last one: with a low ceiling, cards with three good pluses all hit full marks together. Raising it keeps rewarding the fourth and fifth.
You have a specific read on what wins duels, and my role lists don't match it.
Remember: CB now scores on this list alone. Anything you removed is worth zero there.
You're filling three Gauntlet squads and you'd rather the big names played than the perfectly-kitted squad players.
By default this sits at 10%, so squads follow your score. Turning it up hands the shirt back to the higher-rated card whenever it's close.
Your weighting doesn't stay on the settings page. Everything that ranks or names a score follows it.
Suggest used to read off a fixed list I'd written for each role. It now works out which PlayStyles actually raise your score on this card - so if you've re-weighted a position, Suggest re-weights with you.
The old version had a real gap in it: you could re-rank your entire club by your own weighting, then hit Suggest and get my picks anyway. The two halves of the tool disagreed with each other. They don't now.
It's decided per position. Take CDM over and leave ST alone, and CDM follows you while ST follows me.
The trick is that it never estimates. To price a PlayStyle it builds the card you'd have if you took it, then scores that card by your own rules and sees what the number did. A suggestion isn't a guess about your score - it is your score.
Here's a bare CDM, built as a Holding midfielder:
The four best go in the four PlayStyle+ slots. The fifth pick is worth +1.5 and the sixth is worth nothing at all, so it stops - with slots to spare.
Now give that same card a basic Tiki Taka to start with. The fourth pick becomes upgrade Tiki Taka to Tiki Taka+ at +7.3, rather than adding another new style - and because an upgrade hands the basic slot back to you, it can spend that too.
One last thing worth saying plainly. Suggest and the score now share a single piece of maths, so they cannot drift apart. Which means a suggestion you disagree with is a weighting you disagree with - and this page is where you go and win that argument.
None of these will break anything. They're the places where the maths behaves in a way you might not expect.
No. The switch only changes which score is active. Your values sit safely underneath and come straight back when you switch again. The only thing that erases them is Reset to Justaino, which asks first.
There's no Save button. Everything applies and saves the moment you move it, which is what makes the live re-ranking possible. Closing the page just takes you back to your rankings.
No. Peks Lab only changes how the tool ranks what you already own. It never applies an evolution, never edits a card, and never touches your active squad. The one thing it influences that writes to your account is the contents of a squad you explicitly choose to create from the Best XI or Squad Builder page.
Yes. The Squad Builder drafts on whichever score is active, with only a light 10% pull toward raw OVR to settle genuine near-ties. If you'd rather it simply started your highest-rated cards, turn Advanced → Squad Builder draft → Lean on OVR up.
One difference worth knowing: the Best XI page ranks on the score alone, with no OVR pull at all, so the two can still disagree slightly at the margins.
Nothing. Every setting is stored per position, so tuning CB leaves ST exactly as it was. The same is true of PlayStyle lists: taking CB over doesn't affect how any other position is scored.
You've edited that position. It's there so you can tell at a glance which ones you've changed and which are still on my numbers, without opening each one.
No, and this was deliberate. Only the values you actually changed are stored. Anything you left alone follows my updated numbers automatically, so you inherit a seasonal retune for everything except the parts you had an opinion about.
